Yoga for Cancer
Sunday, August 9
9-11am
$40
A cancer diagnosis—and the treatments that often follow—can place extraordinary demands on the body, mind, and spirit. This workshop offers gentle, supportive yoga practices designed to help participants navigate common challenges such as fatigue, stiffness, pain, reduced mobility, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm.
Drawing from both her extensive teaching experience and her own experience living with stage 4 cancer for more than seven years, Kristin Bosteels will share accessible tools including restorative postures, mindful movement, breathwork, and relaxation practices that can be adapted to a wide range of needs and energy levels.
Participants will leave with practical techniques to support rest, resilience, and a greater sense of well-being—both on and off the mat. No prior yoga experience is necessary. This workshop is open to anyone living with cancer at any stage, including those in remission, as well as yoga teachers, caregivers, and loved ones seeking to better understand how yoga can support those navigating treatment and recovery.
