Iyengar Yoga emphasizes precision in action, intelligent sequencing, anatomical awareness, and the use of props to create an integrated, optimal experience.

Dragana Pavic-Zappia
Dragana Pavic-Zappia is a Certified Level II Iyengar Yoga Teacher and has been a dedicated student and practitioner of yoga for more than 25 years. Her early studies included Ashtanga Vinyasa in the Mysore tradition, Kundalini Yoga, and Thai Yoga Therapy before she found a sustainable foundation for lifelong practice within Iyengar Yoga.
Dragana completed her first Iyengar Yoga mentorship with Aretha McKinney and continues to study under the guidance of senior Iyengar Yoga teacher John Schumacher. Her practice and teaching are rooted in an ongoing study of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga and shaped by years of exploration into the science, philosophy, and art of yoga.
Her teaching is precise and compassionate, bringing enthusiasm, curiosity, and a sense of joy to students of all ages and abilities. Dragana lives with her family on the coast of Maine and considers herself, above all, “a Student forever.”
