Accessibility & Care

Body/Energy Work

We offer a small selection of bodywork practices supporting recovery, integration, and long-term care of the body.

These sessions are approached as ongoing, relational work, supporting the nervous system, movement patterns, and overall well-being over time. Practitioners work attentively and collaboratively, meeting each person as an individual and honoring the pace at which change unfolds.

Hatha Yoga

Alignment, Strength, Mobility

Our Hatha classes offer precise instruction and exploratory movement to support a clearer relationship with your body and movement patterns.

All categories of postures are taught, including standing and seated work, backbends, and inversions. Poses are approached deliberately, with attention to alignment, stability, and intelligent effort.

This is a challenging yet moderately paced class and is appropriate for all bodies. Modifications and variations are offered with individualized support.

Qigong

Circulation, Vitality, Grounded Energy

Our qigong classes offer a slow, standing movement practice rooted in breath, awareness, and subtle coordination.

Sequences are taught with repetition and simplicity, supporting joint health, circulation, balance, and calm vitality. Movements are accessible and low-impact, emphasizing ease, continuity, and internal listening rather than exertion.

This class is appropriate for all bodies and is especially supportive for those seeking a steady, nourishing practice that can be sustained over time.

Care is central to how teaching happens here. Our classes are taught by experienced teachers who know how to work with injuries, physical limitations, and a wide range of bodies and movement histories.

Instruction emphasizes clarity, pacing, and adaptability rather than one-size-fits-all approaches. Teachers offer thoughtful modifications and alternatives, and students are encouraged to work within their own capacities on any given day. We value discernment over pushing, and see responsiveness as a skill that develops through practice and relationship.

Students are always welcome to share injuries, health concerns, or movement considerations with their teacher before class. While we do not provide medical advice, we are committed to teaching in ways that support safety, longevity, and respect for individual needs.

Restorative Yoga

Rest, Regulation, Repair

Our restorative classes offer a carefully constructed experience of deep rest, release of tension, and nervous system settling.

A small number of postures are taught using ample props for support and comfort, allowing the body to unwind without strain. Gentle pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) may be introduced to support relaxation and integration.

This is a gentle yet powerful class, appropriate for all bodies.

Vinyasa Yoga

Ritual, Repetition, Breath

Our vinyasa classes offer a thoughtfully paced flow that links breath with movement in a continuous, attentive sequence. We teach a set sequence that changes seasonally.

Postures are woven together with care, prioritizing internal awareness, smooth transitions, and sustainable effort over intensity or speed. While this is an active practice, pauses and moments of steadiness are included to support clarity and integration.

This class is suitable for practitioners with some prior yoga experience who are interested in a mindful, non-performative approach to flow.

Open Studio

Exploration, Independence, Silence

Open Studio offers dedicated time for self-directed practice without formal instruction and is available to monthly members only. During these hours, the studio is open for quiet individual work, allowing students to explore their own practice at a pace and depth that feels appropriate.

Open Studio is offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:00–9:00am. There is no set start or end time; members are welcome to arrive and depart as needed within that window.

A teacher is on-site during Open Studio to answer questions or offer brief guidance when needed, but they are often practicing alongside students. This time is intended to support independence, continuity, and integration, and is an important complement to guided classes. Open Studio is not a social hour or an informal class; we ask that the space be treated with care and respect so all who enter can settle and practice without distraction.
